ENGINEERING HIGHLIGHTS

• Controlled socket drive geometry ensures secure tool engagement and reduced cam-out.

• Precise body diameters support smooth assembly and consistent holding power.

• Point styles engineered for specific load, bite, and friction characteristics.

• Full thread engagement maximizes axial retention.

• Concentricity limits support predictable torque-to-holding performance.

POINT STYLES

G‑Fast supplies all major point configurations for specific application requirements:

• Cup Point – industry standard; strong holding power on shafts.

• Knurled Cup Point – enhanced bite for vibration-heavy assemblies.

• Cone Point – penetrates the mating surface for permanent axial locking.

• Flat Point – non-marring; ideal for frequent adjustments.

• Half Dog Point – indexing into grooves or slots.

• Full Dog Point – precision engagement into mating holes.

• Oval Point – controlled friction without damaging components.

SOCKET SET SCREWS

Socket set screws are headless, fully threaded fasteners engineered to secure, stop, index, or lock components in place through point pressure or controlled surface contact. Designed for assemblies with limited clearance or moving components, set screws install flush with or below the surface, making them ideal for shafts, collars, couplings, gears, instrumentation, robotics, and precision mechanisms.

Their internal hex drive allows for high torque engagement in small diameters, while the full-threaded body provides maximum grip length and adjustment flexibility.

COMMON APPLICATIONS

  • Shaft collars, pulleys, gears, and bushings
  • Tooling, fixtures, and indexing mechanisms
  • Robotics and motion systems
  • Electronics and compact assemblies
  • Automotive, aerospace, and medical equipment
  • High‑vibration industrial machinery
