Precision Custom Wireforming Solutions for Industrial Applications

Wireforms are application-specific components formed from wire to perform mechanical functions within an assembly.

G-Fast supplies custom wireforms produced to customer print or specification, supporting requirements where geometry, material, and performance must be matched to the application.

Unlike standard fasteners, wireforms are not catalog items. Each part is defined by its shape, dimensions, and function within the assembly.

Configurations

Wireforms vary widely depending on application and are defined entirely by the supplied print.

Common configurations include clips and retention forms, hooks and linkages, spring clips and tension elements, formed frames and supports, and complex multi-bend geometries.

Geometry, bend sequence, and tolerances are defined per application and manufacturing method.

Material and Finishes

Material selection is based on strength, flexibility, corrosion resistance, and environmental exposure.

Common materials include carbon steel, stainless steel (302, 304, 316, 17-7 PH), music wire and spring steels, alloy steels, and copper alloys such as phosphor bronze and beryllium copper.

Finishes may include plating, coating, passivation, or other treatments as required by the application.

Fasteneering® Insight

Wireforms are defined by geometry and function not by standard dimensions.

Performance depends on wire diameter, bend radii and sequence, material properties, tolerances, and interaction with mating components.

Because wireforms are formed parts, manufacturability must be considered early. G-Fast reviews supplied drawings for manufacturability, material suitability, and cost efficiency while working strictly to customer-defined requirements.

Applications

Custom wireforms are used across industrial equipment, automotive systems, electronics, medical devices, appliances, and infrastructure applications where formed wire geometry provides function that cannot be achieved with standard fasteners.

Made in USA Advantage

Made in USA | Best Available Lead Times G-Fast combines domestic manufacturing capability with reliable communication and supply-chain consistency.

Engineering Review

G-Fast reviews customer drawings and specifications for manufacturability, feasibility, and cost efficiency.

Where appropriate, we may suggest alternative materials, bend configurations, or production methods. Any recommended changes must be approved by the customer’s engineering team and incorporated into updated documentation before production.

How G-Fast Supports Wireform Programs

G-Fast supplies custom wireforms produced to customer specifications and recognized industry requirements.

Because wireforms are not standard catalog items, all parts are manufactured to print.
